Virgin Atlantic’s Commercial Team wanted to celebrate their best people – so they created The Incredibles, a staff recognition event where standout employees would be nominated for awards and invited to an exclusive evening ceremony. For the identity I took inspiration from illustrator Thomas Danthony, with Virgin’s brand font, Gotham, pushed into a heavier weight and more contemporary style than it had been used before. The design was rolled out across all event materials, and on the night, animated for large-format screens.
